Kristen's Wedding - Chapter Seventeen

"I can't believe it's my wedding day! I'm so nervous that I can barely stand it!" Kristen tells her best friend. "Your wedding will be talked about all over the kingdom. I still can't believe you have decided to settle down. William will make a good husband. He's a very loving and kind man." she tells Kristen.

Kristen finds Paul in one of her studies. "I want you to know, Paul, that I do not hold any hard feelings towards you. I think it's nice that you have found someone to love. Will you forgive me for acting so rude to you and Nancy?" Kristen asks him.

"I was worried that I had lost favor with you. I would never do anything to upset your majesty. I forgive you." Paul replies with a smile. Kristen gives Paul a friendly hug. "I hope to see you and Nancy at my wedding this evening," she says."We will be there," Paul replies.

Kristen summons her ladies to help her prepare for her wedding. They bring her wedding gown and help her get dressed.

"You look stunning, my queen!" one of her ladies exclaims. "I love what you have decided to do with your hair. Everyone will be stunned by your beauty," the other one told her.

While Kristen was getting ready, William was also preparing for the wedding. Once he was dressed, he placed the crown of her late father on. 

"It looks like it's time to go," one of the ladies told Kristen. Kristen made sure everything was in place and then headed to the carriage waiting for her. 

Margret and Robert are the first to head down the aisle together.

Then Paul and Nancy follow behind them.

Then Kristen enters the church, and everyone stands to watch her walk down the aisle to meet William.

As the wedding began, they shared sweet words of love for all to hear and gathered for the priest to marry them.

Kristen exchanges her vows and gives William his ring.

Then William pledged his love as he slipped Kristen's ring onto her finger.

"I announce you, husband and wife, the new King and Queen of Winchester. You may kiss the bride," the priest spoke. Kristen and William embraced and shared a kiss.

The whole crowd broke out in applause and began to celebrate.

After the wedding, everyone gathered in the banquet hall to attend the reception. Kristen and her new husband, William, were having a good time with all her guests. 

Everyone seemed to be having a good time as they celebrated with wine and food.

When the celebration ended, Kristen and William headed to the royal chambers together as husband and wife.

"I am glad to make you my king, to rule beside me, and to love me forever," Kristen told William. "I will love you till the day I die and cherish every day that we are together,"  he replied.

The next day, William was crowned King of Winchester to rule alongside Kristen.

Kristen's Change of Heart - Chapter Sixteen

William strokes Kristen's cheek."I can't wait to tell the whole world that I love you and we are to be married," William tells Kristen."This will be a memorable day. We will celebrate with wine, food, and music."

Paul was put into a prison cell to await the decision of the queen. After spending a couple of days in the dungeon with no word from anyone, Paul fears that she will surely put him to death.

Nancy also fears that the queen will behead her like the girl that previously made Kristen mad. No one could forget that death.

The ladies gather water for the queen's bath."What do you think she will do with Paul and Nancy?" one asked. "I don't know, but I would not want to be in their shoes," another replied.

Kristen heads down to the dungeon to speak with Paul. "I could not stand to see you with her. I got jealous of her. I am to be married to William, and I think it's only right that I set you free to love and be with anyone you choose. So, I have come to tell you that I am setting you free. I want you to be happy, and if you want to see this other lady, you may. You will be set free when the guard comes back with the keys," Kristen tells Paul.

"I am having a change of heart. I will allow you to keep your life and your head. I'm going to set you free so that you and Paul may be together. You may stay in court with Paul if you like. He still serves me as queen," Kristen tells Nancy. 

Robert arrives and lets them both out. "The queen gave me instructions to let you two free. You two have been pardoned. I have never seen this before. You are very lucky," he tells them both.

Paul embraces Nancy with relief. "I can't believe the queen set us free and that we can stay here at court together. We don't have to hide our feelings for each other, and I don't have to be with the queen!" Paul exclaims.

They both made their way out of the dungeon. Paul turns toward Nancy, "Will you consider courting me?" Paul asks Nancy. "I would love that too since I almost lost my head for you," Nancy tells Paul with a giggle.

The engagement party was held, and everyone was invited. The guests all danced and drank wine in celebration of the upcoming wedding.

Everyone toasted Kristen and Williams union. The food was served, and it was a celebration many would remember for years to come.

After the formal festival, and most of the guests leave, Kristen dances with some of her closest friends and staff for hours into the night.

After everyone headed to bed, and Kristen was doing what she normally did at night, it left Paul and Nancy alone in the courtyard. They embraced each other and shared their first kiss together. "Oh, this is a night to remember," Paul whispers to Nancy.

Castaway Chapter Thirteen - Haley's Toddler Years

Haley enjoys eating bananas that Megan makes her everyday. They're her favorite snack and she loves to make a mess every time she eats them.

After breakfast, Jasmin loves to play with Haley and make her giggle. Jasmin loves being a grandma to Haley. She hopes to get more grandchildren to spoil.

While Kevin takes a break from fishing, he spends time with Haley. "Who's my favorite baby girl?" Kevin coos at Haley. Haley just giggles back.

Megan tries to potty train Haley, but she doesn't want to sit on the potty. 

"Come on Haley. It's really easy, just pee in the potty. You can do this! You're a big girl now!" she tells Haley to encourage her.

Haley peeks out of her toy box to see if anyone has spotted her hiding place. She loves to play in her mommy's old toy box that she had when she was a little girl.

Brian tries to teach Haley how to talk and to count. 

"One, two, three, four and five. This is how many fingers I have on this hand. Count with me Haley." he encourages her. 

She seems to be catching on pretty quick.

Kevin sweeps up Haley and tosses her in the air. 

"There's my girl. Did you miss your grandpa?" Kevin asks Haley. 

"I missed ya to." Haley tells Kevin in a tiny little voice.

"There you are Haley." Jasmin says as she scoops her up and gives her a big hug. "Mommy says it's nap time." 

Jasmin changes her clothes and prepares her for her nap.

"Sweet dreams Haley. I will see you in a little bit." Jasmin tells her as she tucks her in.

It didn't take her long to fall asleep. She slept for several hours.

After her nap she played in her crib, till Megan came to get her.

"We need to teach you how to walk. One foot in front of the other. Take your time, Mommy's got you." Megan tells her.

After several times, Haley takes her first steps on her own. 

"You did it Haley! You walked all by yourself!" Megan cheered her as she swept her up and tossed her into the air.

"Ok, you need to use the potty. It's so easy." Megan explains to her as she pats her on the head. After a few minutes, Haley uses the potty and then giggles at Megan. 

"I did it mommy! I used the potty!" Haley squealed with excitement.

"This belonged to me when I was your age. Your grandpa made it for me. It makes such pretty music. Hit here first." Megan explains to her.

After Haley plays with Megan for a while, she heads to her toy box to play with her favorite toys.

Oh pretty pink bunny, hop, hop, hop along. Haley giggles.

Castaway Chapter Twelve - Baby Haley's First Year

The first month was a bit of a challenge for Megan and Brian to get use to their new little addition. There were many sleepless nights, changing all the dirty homemade diapers, and the feedings. It had them quite tired. Jasmin and Kevin were a big help. 

"I still can't believe my eyes, you're such a pretty baby." Megan coos at her new daughter.

Megan places Haley in the crib that her daddy made for her before she was born.

Haley slept most of the night, now that she was getting a little older. She rarely woke in the middle of the night like she use to for a feeding.

The next morning Brian takes Haley out of her crib and plays with her. She's starting to learn how to giggle a little. She smiles a lot when he plays with her.

Jasmin takes Haley down the hill where Megan is sitting on the beach.

Jasmin sits Haley down beside her while she chats with Megan.

It's a beautiful day and the guys are having a lot of fun fishing. Jasmin and Megan sit close behind them with Haley chatting and watching them.

Megan cuddles Haley up as the day draws to a close.

"It won't be to long before you will be crawling and setting up on your own." Megan tells her as Haley is close to falling asleep on her shoulder.

"Today is your birthday Haley!"  Brian tells her as he scoops her up into his arms from her crib.

Jasmin and Megan have made Haley a cake to celebrate her birthday. Haley turns one today!

"You're quite the cute one. Grandpa's going to get you." Kevin tells Haley as he tickles her. Megan laughs and giggles.
