James and Amelia Get Married - Chapter Sixty Three

The wedding was to take place later, after sunset. Amelia's ladies helped her into her dress and laced her laces. They pinned her hair back with a veil and a flower. "It will start soon; we need to head downstairs to meet up with your dad," Kara told Amelia.

The day grew to a close, and the night had set in. There was a cool breeze and the sound of the crickets in the background chirping. Amelia was joined by her dad. "You look beautiful," he told her.

Amelia looked at the pretty flowers that her mom and Kristen had decorated. There were flowers laid on the ground leading her to her true love.  It was a fairytale wedding that any girl would dream about. The stars lit the night, and the candles set the mood. Everyone stood to their feet when the music began to play.

"Are you ready?" Mark asked Amelia. "Yes, I have waited for this moment for as long as I can remember," she replied. Amelia took her father's arm and prepared to walk down the aisle with him.

She began to slowly walk down the aisle, covered in flowers that her bridesmaids had laid down.

When they arrived at the front, they stopped. "I present my daughter to you; I give you my blessing in this unity," Mark told James as he faced Amelia and kissed her on her forehead. "I love you," he told Amelia. He then took his place beside Kara in the front row.

James looked at Amelia in her wedding dress with her hair pinned back with a veil and a flower. James was taken by how Amelia looked. He looked at her and smiled.

James took Amelia's hand, and the priest began the ceremony. "We are gathered here to unit these two in holy matrimony." the priest announced.

James took Amelia's hand and held it in his. Amelia was beaming with happiness. James melted as she smiled at him. He has waited so long for this moment, and now it was finally coming true.

"James, do you take Amelia to be your lawful wife, to love and cherish her in sickness and health till death do we part," he asked James. "I will honor you as my wife. I vow to protect and love you till the end of my days." James told Amelia as he slid a golden ring onto her finger.

"Amelia, do you take James as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health till death do you part?" the priest asked Amelia. "I do take you, my love, to cherish every moment we share, love you till death do we part," Amelia told James as she placed a golden ring on his finger.

"If no one objects to this union, I now announce you husband and wife." the priest announced.

"You may kiss the bride," he told James. James leaned over and kissed Amelia.

The reception was held in the banquet hall. Everyone gathered for them to cut their cake and have a feast to celebrate.

The cake was beautifully decorated. James did the honors of cutting the cake.

After everyone ate and drank wine, they gathered in the ballroom for some entertainment. "May I have this dance?" Mark asked Amelia.

Mark took Amelia's hand and led her out onto the dance floor. Everyone gathered around to watch the father of the bride dance.

The music began, and Mark led Amelia around the floor, swirling her as though she was light as a feather. "You look amazing. Is this the wedding that you dreamed about?" Mark asked Amelia. "Yes, it is; I couldn't have dreamed of a better one," Amelia replied with a smile on her face.

As Amelia and Mark danced, James talked to his parents about his plans for the honeymoon.

Now it was time for James to dance for the first time with his bride. He joined her out on the floor where Mark had stopped dancing with her.

He gently took her hand and placed his other hand on her waist. He then took her by surprise when he twirled her around and then leaned her back to give her a kiss on the cheek. They finished the dance and after it was finished, the rest started to dance.

After dancing, Amelia and James headed over to speak to Kristen. She was enjoying herself quite well. "You look stunning. Before you head, I want to remind you of what we talked about. My wizard is making the potion up. I need you to drink it before you go. It should be ready by tomorrow." Kristen told Amelia and James.

"Can't we wait till we get back? It won't hurt to wait just a little longer. We were going to head out tonight. James made all the plans. Please." Amelia begged. Kristen finally gave in. "I guess it won't hurt to wait till you get back. Be careful, at least." Kristen replied.

James swept Amelia off her feet and carried her outside, where a carriage was waiting.

James helped Amelia up in the carriage and then sat down beside her. "What about the sun?" Amelia asked, noticing that there was no shelter from the sun. "We will arrive before it becomes daylight. I have a special place for just the two of us." James replied.

The carriage pulled out of the castle's gate, leaving everyone behind for a little while. It was a secret where they were going. Only James and a select few knew. He was going to make it a night that she would never forget.

Fresh Start For The Young Family - Chapter One

Rhonda and Wes arrived with there daughter, Ashley at the town of Brookshire.  They had returned from her fathers funeral. Her mother had passed away a few years before from an illness. In his will he left his only daughter all there stuff. When they arrived it was as she left it when she meet Wes. It was the town that she grew up as a little girl.

Her father loved to build things and had made there house a very pretty one. Even in his old age he managed to keep it looking good.

Rhonda and Wes had been living in the city while Wes finished his collage classes. She waited tables to help pay the bills while he worked as a janitor at night.

The moving van arrived with there stuff, and they helped them move the boxes into the house.

"Wow, your dad did a lot of work to this house since last time we were here. It looks great. I see that there will be some things that will need to be done but for the most part things look pretty good." Wes told Rhonda.

Wes started to look for a new job on the wanted adds in town. He had finished college and wanted to get start in the medical field. But it seemed there were no openings today.

Rhonda picked out Ashley's room and decided this one would be perfect. She decided to do a room makeover before she moved her stuff into the room.

Wes came back from the hardware store with some fresh paint and some wall paper. He quickly got started and spent most of the day painting and putting up the boarder in Ashley's room. He stood back to admire his work.

But for the meantime until her room had time to air out from the fresh pain fumes they put her crib in their room. Ashley was tired from the move and was a bit cranky. Rhonda put her down for a nap.

After she woke from her nap, Rhonda dressed her and let her play in the floor with some of her toys that she unpacked. Ashley played in the floor and seemed to really like her new home.

"I'm exhausted. I have unpacked most of our things." she told Wes as she sat down beside him and leaned back into his lap. "Yes its turning out pretty good. I'm liking this peace and quite. Its definitely different from city life." Wes told Rhonda as he stroked her hair from her face.

Rhonda headed into the kitchen to get some dinner made. Ashley was going to be hungry before too long and her stomach was beginning to growl.

Rhonda placed Ashley into her high chair and got her food ready. "You must have been really hungry, you need to slow down." Rhonda told Ashley as she smiled and giggled at her.

Ashley didn't care, she was mainly playing in it rather than eating it. She managed to get a lot of it on the floor and cover herself with it.

Wes got the paper that was delivered earlier that day to see if he could find any job openings. Even though the house was paid off he was still paying for college and for a new vehicle that they didn't have to have in the city.

"Have you found anything yet?" Rhonda asked Wes. "Not yet, I'm still looking, tomorrow I'm going to head down to the hospital and see if I can get my foot in the door there." he replied. "I think that's a great idea. As soon as we get situated I can maybe start a day care to help make ends meet until you can get your job situated." she replied.

Rhonda thought about how she was going to get started. They had little money but she was going to have to get things done for the arrival of some kids.

Amelia's Parents Come To See Her - Chapter Sixty Two

Mark and Kara arrived at the castle to meet with their daughter, Amelia, and her new fiance, James.

"I have missed you so much, I was so worried about you, but James made sure to send me word of your condition and where he was hiding you," Kara told Amelia. "I'm glad you were not able to see me when I was going through that part of my life. I think of it now it was all worth it now that me and James are together," she replied.

"I can't believe this. We went from fearing for our lives to being introduced to the whole kingdom as the parents of our daughter, who is marrying the prince of Winchester. This seems all too unreal to me." Kara told Mark.

"I think they are so sweet together. I was so worried that they would kill her for sure. She went from being in the dungeon to a castle living like royalty. We are so lucky to have such a strong daughter." Mark told Kara as he hugged her tight in his arms.

Hand in hand, Kara and Mark walked through the beautiful gardens of the castle grounds. "I will be meeting with Kristen shortly. I must stay strong for all of us, no matter how much I do not like her." Kara told Mark.

Kara waited to meet Kristen in the banquet hall. She was scared to come face to face with Kristen. She couldn't shake the memories of everything she had done to her and her family. But with Amelia's happiness at stake, she was going to make sure that she hid her true feelings. She was set on being friends with Kristen to keep in favor with her.

Kristen entered the room and walked over to Kara. "I know we have had our differences, but for the sake of our children's happiness, I've agreed for James to marry your daughter. He seems the happiest when he's with her. They share a bond that I have never seen in any relationship, including mine." Kristen told Kara.

"I want to apologize for how I have treated you and your family in the past. I have no excuse for what I did other than a mother trying to help her son. I was selfish for doing what I did, and I can never take back the pain you have suffered. All I can do is say I'm sorry and hope that we can start a new from this day on." Kristen told Kara.

Kara stood silent while Kristen talked. She kept her composure and responded to Kristen in a soft and calm voice. "I would like that; I will try to move forward due to your reasons for a mother trying to help her son. It hurt my family greatly, but for the sake of my daughter's happiness, I see that we can put our differences aside for our children." Kara told Kristen.

James told one of Amelia's lady's to tell her to meet him out in the garden.

Amelia headed to the garden. As soon as she came within James's sight, she ran across the courtyard and jumped into James's arms.

Amelia stroked his cheek as he kissed her. "It won't be much longer before we can be together for the rest of our lives," James told Amelia. "I can't wait; my wish will finally come true," Amelia replied to him.

After being in the garden for a while, James walked Amelia to her room before he retired for the day. James laid on the bed, talking to Amelia.

James pulled Amelia onto the bed. He kissed her passionately and almost lost his control with her. She melted in his arms as he kissed her. "I can't stand this. I want to be with you so bad," he told her. "I want you to, but we must wait till we are married, so we do not have any children out of wedlock and make your mother mad." Amelia managed to get out as James started to really get carried away with her.

"My sweet love, I will honor your wishes, as much as it kills me to wait. I can't wait till we are married and that I can call you my wife." James told Amelia as he gently kissed her on her neck.

Meanwhile, Kara talked to Kristen and some of Amelia's ladies about some of the wedding decorations. "James has requested an outside wedding instead of a traditional wedding. He wants a small private wedding." Kristen told Kara.

The wedding decorations were slowly coming together as they set their plan in motion. It would only be a week before the wedding was to take place. The invitations were sent out. Amelia's dress was being made.

These flowers are beautiful; I think they are going to love this setting. Kara told Kristen. "I think James and Amelia are going to be happy with it." She replied to Kara.

Next was the dress. The seamstress was finally finished with her dress and came for her to try it on to make sure it was a perfect fit. Amelia's dress was made of fine silk and laced with the finest cloth. The ladies helped her into her dress and tied the laces. They made her a pretty vial with a flower to pin it in her hair. Kristen and Kara came to see how she looked in the new dress.

"Oh my goodness, you're so beautiful. Your dress is the most beautiful dress I have ever seen." Kara squealed as she hugged Amelia.

"This day is going to be a day that you will never forget. You're going to be the prettiest bride ever, and James is going to melt when he sees you in this dress." Kara told Amelia. "I agree; I can't believe how the dress turned out. My son is going to be one lucky man." Kristen told them. Amelia began to get excited. "I can't wait to get married now." Amelia gushed.
