Castaway Chapter Twenty Four - Belise tells Samual About Jordon

"I'm heading out, do you need anything before I go?" he asked. "I need to talk to you about something." she replied.

Belise broke down and began to sob, Samuel had no clue why Belise was so upset. "Whats wrong?" he asked. She tried to calm herself enough to tell him, knowing that it would destroy him, and in fear of how he would react. "I have something horrible to tell you. I don't know even where to start, but I ask that you don't hate me." she told him. Samuel became not only confused but worried, he tried to reassure her of her worries. "Tell me." he commanded.

"Remember the day that we were in the field, she paused. We were so wrapped up in each other that we didn't realize that we were not alone." she told him. "How do you know this?" he asked. She looked down trying to find the right words. "It wasn't long after that day, that I realized it was Jordon that saw us, his emotions overcome him and well........." she paused. Samuel's eyes grew wide when his imagination started getting the better of him, but he stayed silent waiting for her to finish.

"When you were getting the kids ready for bed and I was cleaning up, Jordon called for me, he wanted to show me something, I had nothing to fear, so I thought..." she began to sob again, but held strong to her story. "As I went around the building he tried to kiss me, when I refused and got mad, he lost it. He.............. "Stop! I don't want to hear anymore. I......will kill him." he shouted now full of rage. "No there is more, she began. I'm pregnant and its around the time that I was with you and when he did that." she told him. Samuel now realizing what was going on and why she was so upset, felt his world crushing down around him. "So this baby could be his? No it can't be, I'ts my child." he shouted now scaring Belise.

"You hate me?" she cried. Samuel looked at Belise, "No my love, I could never hate you. I hate him for what he did to you. He took something that was mine. I would never share you, I would kill for you." he told her. "Please don't hurt him for Haley's sake, hes her only family, and he has realized what he has done the moment it was over, hes not going to ever hurt me again." she begged.

"Please tell me that you won't do anything to him?" she asked. He wouldn't say anything. He looked at the ground then at Belise. "He can't get away with this, if we were still in our tribe, it would be death." he told her. Belise realized what he was saying was true, how could she argue with there ways. But she knew that she had to convince him that he should not follow their was this time, but to try to move on. "I promise nothing, I don't even know how to feel about it. Its.....just to much for me right now." he told her. "I have to be alone for a little while, go down with the children and I'll see you at bedtime." he commanded.

When she left his emotions got the better of him. He pictured everything that he had done to her. How he had hurt her and he wasn't there to protect her. How his joy of having another baby could possible belong to another man. He couldn't take it any more, he had to confront Jordon.

"HOW DARE YOU!!" screamed Samuel at Jordon. Before Jordon had time to react, Samuel kicked him down to the ground. Jordon landed so hard that blood came out of his nose and mouth. He laid on the ground stunned and confused.

As Jordon was coming to, he found Samuel now holding him down on the ground with a knife in his hand. "Stop! Please! No!" Jordon begged as he struggled to get away from Samuel's grasp. "I never meant to hurt her, I'll never touch her again." he screamed out.

Samuel felt no mercy as he pictured Jordon defiling his Belise. He began to stab Jordon without any thought. He sunk the blade of his knife into Jordon's side several times before he quit. Jordon grabbed his side now pouring the blood, while Samuel stood, emotionless over him.

Samuel didn't care if Jordon lived or died, he most preferred dead. It was their law and he wasn't going to change it. He was going to protect his wife from that moment on, he would never let someone hurt her again.

When Samuel hadn't come to bed, Belise went to look for him. She started to get worried about him after telling him the horrible news. She seen him sitting on a log, as she approached to talk to him, she saw Jordon laying on the ground not moving and blood everywhere. "What have you done?" she cried out. Samuel sat there just looking at Jordon's lifeless body. "He deserved it, he will never hurt you again." he told her. She knew she couldn't argue with him. It was over and done with. "What are we going to tell the kids?" she asked. "I will think of something, I will take care of all of this, I will make it out as a accident, don't worry about it. I will handle it." he told her.

"Go back to the hut, I will meet you there when I'm done." he told her. "Jordon didn't deserve to die, it was a accident. If I wouldn't have said anything, Jordon would still be alive, but if it was Jordon's baby, it would be me." she kept telling herself over and over.

As she walked away, she could hear Samuel dragging Jordon across the sand.

Samuel began to drag Jordon's lifeless body up the hillside. He had to move him so that the kids didn't see him.

He dug a hole beside the graves on the hillside of Haley's parents and grandparents. When he finished he placed Jordon in the hole. He began to shovel dirt over his body.

Belise couldn't take it, she had to talk to Samuel. When she topped the hill, Samuel was finishing up on burying him. She walked over with tears in her eyes. "He didn't need to die, I could have lived with it." she told him. He walked over to her, pulling her close to comfort her.

"Belise, my love. Please do not worry about this, we will get through this together. Please stop crying." he softly whispered into her ear.

It was now nearly daylight when they reached the hut. "I cant take this, I don't know how to do this." she told him. Samuel pulled her close. "We can do this, just explain to her that it was a accident." he told her.

Belise went to the kids room when they were getting up. After they were dressed, Belise told Haley she needed to talk to her. Belise bent down and pulled Haley over to her. "I have terrible news, Jordon last night fell and hit his head on the boat, when he did, he hurt his head really bad. We tried to get the bleeding to stop but failed. He passed last night. Haley began to cry while Belise tried to comfort her. She hated herself for lieing to Haley, but knew she had to.

She tried to comfort her, but Haley continued to cry uncontrollably. "Where is he?" she said in a real low voice. "We figured it would only be right to bury him with your family." she replied.

Haley took off running. She had to see for herself. She just couldn't believe he was actually gone. "Wait up, Haley." Lennie called out to her as he tried to catch up with her.

Lennie finally reached the top of the hill to find Haley standing at the freshly buried grave. "NO! NO! You were suppose to protect me." she screamed at the grave as if she was waiting for him to replied.

She slumped down on the ground. "What do I do now?" she asked Lennie. Lennie sat down in front of Haley placing her hand in his. "We are you new family. I will always be with you." he replied to her.

After a long time sitting by Jordon's grave, Haley decided to go back to the hut. She was feeling so alone even though she knew she had Lennie and his parents. It still didn't feel the same.

She went to her room where she skipped dinner and sobbed for hours. Lennie knew he had to leave her alone so she could grieve.

Before bedtime, Belise went to find Haley. "Please don't be so sad, hes with your family now. I know it hurts now, but you will find a way to cope. When we lost our little boy, it felt like our world was empty, I promise it will get better." she told her. Haley ran into Belise's arms holding her tight.

"I finally managed to calm her down, shes taking a nap." Belise told Samuel. He swooped her up, "It will be alright, we all have some adjusting to do, but in the end it will all work out." he told her.

"But what about this baby?" she asked. "I will love it no matter what. I'm the father of this child and nothing will ever change that. I love you to much, Belise. You are my world and this baby will share it with us." he told her.

Castaway The Pregnancy - Chapter Twenty Three

Belise was just about ready to go to bed when she was hit with a sudden urge to throw up. She darted across the floor down the steps to the bathroom.

Belise was in the bathroom all night. She was throwing up and dry heaving to the point of exhaustion.

It was early in the morning and Belise managed to fall onto the bed still dressed. Samuel was still asleep not even aware that Belise was gone for most of the night.

It was getting later in the day when Belise finally woke up. She realized that Samuel must have took her shoes off and dressed her in her night clothes. He even tucked her into bed.

Everyone else was already out doing their own thing since she had slept in. She sat down to eat since her stomach was now growling with hunger pains.

While the kids were close by playing, Belise decided to take a swim in the pond. She noticed she looked a bit swollen. "Could I be!" No its just getting closer to my period or its stress, I can't be." she thought. She shrugged it off without another thought.

About another month passed without a period. She noticed that her clothes began to become tight as her belly was more swollen. Her worse fears were becoming reality.

She sat in her room pondering on how to tell Samuel. What if the baby was Jordon's. She wouldn't be able to hid that. "If I don't tell Samuel now, and it comes true, he will never forgive me, but if I do, he will hurt Jordon for sure." she thought. Belise knew she had to do it soon. Her belly was becoming noticeable.

She broke down and found Jordon. She put her fears aside and walked up to him. Jordon stood there silent and in shock that Belise would even talk to him. "I don't know what to do!" she began. She paused......."I'm pregnant." Jordon's mouth gaped open.

"Wait! Tell me your just punishing me, is it mine?" he asked now full of panic. "I don't know. When you.... she paused, you were not careful, and I was also with Samuel as well. I don't know who the baby belongs to." she told him almost in tears. "If it turns out to be yours, Samuel will know, and he will kill me and you. "Are you going to tell him? Please tell me you won't." he begged. "I don't know what to do." she replied and walked away slowly.

Belise was taking a bath while looking down at her swollen belly. "I hope you are Samuel's! It would make me so happy, since we lost out little boy not so long ago." she thought to herself while rubbing her belly.

Samuel called to Belise, almost startling her. She climbed out of the pond and walked over to him. "Hi my love." he told her. "I need to talk to you." She started then looked down to the ground. "What is it?" he asked. "I'm pregnant!" she told him with uncertainty on how he would react.

She fell to the ground holding on to his waste, "Are you mad?" she asked.

He went to his knees to be with Belise. "Why would I be mad? This makes me the happiest man alive. I would love to be a father again." he replied. Belise tried to seem happy with Samuel's response but deep down her heart was breaking. She wanted to tell him, but couldn't bring herself to hurt him.

He got up and pulled Belise to her feet. He began to rub her belly. I can see it now. I can't believe I didn't notice before. How far do you think you are?" he asked. "I'm not sure, but I think a few months." she replied.

Belise then told Haley and Lennie that she was pregnant. "I'm going to be a big brother again!" Lennie squealed with delight. "I can't wait to play with it, we can teach it so many things." Haley added.

Samuel was walking on air all day. He couldn't be more happy. He found Belise and swooped her off her feet. "I love you." he told her carrying her to the hut.

That night they went to bed. Belise was a little bit more at ease now that she had told both of them about being pregnant. But her heart broke for both of them. She knew Jordon was now so scared, and Samuel was so happy not knowing the truth that it might not be his. She didn't know what she was going to do next.

Castaway Belies Clings To Samual For Safty - Chapter Twenty Two

Belise's heart was racing with fear, after facing Jordon. All she could do was run and find Samuel to feel safe. She ran into the hut to find that no one was in the kitchen, so she ran up the steps.

She found Samuel upstairs in their bedroom. She fell into his loving embrace, wrapping her arms around him trying not to alarm him of her ordeal. He pulled her close and kissed her. "Hold me." she whispered to him. "Everything ok?" he asked. "Yes, just missed you." she whispered.

Jordon sat down by the fire trying to figure out what to do. He knew he had made a big mistake that he couldn't take back. He wished he had never seen them that day when they were in the field together. "Life is so unfair, I'm here all alone without someone to love me and now I have ruined a good friend with my horrible actions. I don't know how to fix this. What have I done?" he thought to himself as he put his hands up to his face to conceal his tears.

Late that night, things were just as they were every night. Belise cuddled up to Samuel to sleep, but just a little bit tighter. He didn't even notice she wasn't even asleep. She laid there wondering what to do. If she told Samuel what Jordon had done, she knew Samuel would hurt Jordon. She hated Jordon for what he did, but Belise didn't want any harm to come to him.

The next morning, Samuel was about ready to kiss Belise goodbye before he headed out to catch some fish, when she proposed that she go with him for fun. "I can help, I would really like to spend the day with you." she told him. "I would really like that, but what about the kids?" he asked. "They will be fine, they are playing and they already have their studies for the day." she replied.

Jordon tried to avoid both Belise and Samuel that morning. He stood in the kitchen staring out watching Belise and Samuel talking. He couldn't help but wonder what they were talking about. His heart began to pound waiting for Samuel to get angry. He wasn't sure if Belise was telling him of his betrayal. After a few moments, he realized that Belise hadn't told him yet. He watched them head off walking together.

Belise was a little more at ease knowing she was away from Jordon and was safe with Samuel. She began to relax a little and tried to enjoy the day.

Samuel sat down to take a break when Belise took him by surprise wrapping her arms around him, almost choking him. "I love you, your my world." she told him. "You are my everything too, lighten your grip." he replied with a smile on his face. "Sorry." she giggled.

When they came back, Haley was sitting on the beach making another sand sculpture. She seemed to be having a lot of fun.

Lennie was playing with his pet turtle in the hut. He had just finished with his studies, and decided to play with his little friend.

Belise was the last to finish her dinner, forcing herself to eat. She was so sick to her stomach, that it was taking everything in her not to throw up. Her hands were clammy and trembling. The kids finished in a hurry and headed outside to play. Samuel got up to start to help Belise clean up. Jordon meet Belise's eyes, and he could see the hurt in them.

He left the hut in a hurry and poured him a bath to try to relax. All he could do was sit and ponder on how to make it right.

Belise headed out to spend some time with the kids. They really enjoyed playing games with them. She paused for a moment, knowing that Jordon was behind her. She could almost feel his eyes on her. She knew she had to keep calm, she walked over to where the kids were playing.

Lennie and Haley were playing with a sand castle that they built earlier.

Jordon finally walked over to Belise away from where the kids could hear him. "Please forgive me. I know I was in the wrong, I wish it never happened. I know I have lost a friend and that you will never trust me again. I will never hurt you again." he pleaded.

Belise was now angry. "Yes you have lost a friend! I will never trust you! I want you to stay away from me other than when Samuel is around. I will pretend everything is ok, for your sake. If he ever finds out about what you did, he will kill you." she told him.

Samuel was standing watching the kids playing, noticed that Belise seemed upset with Jordon.

When Samuel walked up to them, they didn't seem to be fighting after all. He figured it just looked strange from a distance. "They must have been playing around." he thought. "What are you too up too?" he joked to Jordon. "The usual." Jordon joked back.

They all got together and played some hopscotch. Belise got beat by Lennie, making his day. It seemed like a perfect end to the day.

They sent the kids to get ready for bed. "I really enjoyed you coming with me today." Samuel told Belise.

They sat on the beach for a long time talking. "Life couldn't get any better." Samuel said. Belise said nothing, if only he knew how her life was turned upside down and shredded into pieces. She wanted to tell him everything, but she feared he would look at her with disgust for betrayal to him, and Jordon could meet a worse fate. So she pretended to agree with him.

They stared at the stars sitting on the beach, with Samuel whispering sweet nothings into her ear, making her giggle.

Belise grabbed Samuel, kissing him. "What was that all about?" Samuel asked a little shocked by how Belise was acting a little strange. "I just wanted to kiss you to let you know how much I really enjoyed you letting me come with you today." she replied.

He swept her off her feet and carry her to bed with him.

Samuel looked at Belise sensing something was wrong. "Are you sure you are alright? Samuel asked now getting concerned. "I feel like you are stressed out." he told her. "I'm fine, I guess I have been working to hard and the heat may be getting to me." she replied.
