The Funeral - Chapter Seventy Seven

The following night everyone gathered out in the royal graveyard to pay their last respects to James before they buried him. His mother placed several red roses on her son's coffin as she sobbed in William's arms. Everyone was quiet except for the sobs and cries that could be heard from everyone.

William held himself together while Kristen was falling apart. She was so grief-stricken that he feared that she would not recover from her only 's son's death.

It was a really sad sight for all that came. Even the guards were there to pay their respects to him. The beloved prince was gone, and the 's fate of the kingdom fell to Arthur if anything should happen to Kristen.

Amelia sobbed in her Lady, and best friends arms, Molly. She wept silently so her kids wouldn't see or hear her cry. She knew she had to be strong for them.

Arthur cried silent, but Annabell was a mess. She screamed and sobbed so loud it was so pitiful to hear. Everyone knew that Annabell was a daddy's girl, and now she would not only feel like a part of her was gone. She would have to also face the world without him.

Willow looked up to her mom, "This is so sad. I feel terrible for Arthur and Annabell," she whispered to her mom. "I know, it's a tragedy, and he will be missed by everyone," she replied to Willow.

Before the priest could finish his words, Kristen was collapsing to her knees. William helped her into the castle to lay down for a bit to try to recover her strength.

After the service was done, everyone meets in the castle. "I know this is a difficult time for you, your family, and staff. I will take Willow with me for now until this blows over. I'll keep in touch with you to discuss Willow at a later date," she told Amelia. "I think that would be best right now. I have to get all of James's affairs out of the way and find out what is to become of mine and the kid's future," she replied.

Arthur hugged Willow tight, "I don't want you to go. You're my best friend," he sobbed. "I think my mom will bring me to see you, and you know you will always be my best friend," she replied.

Arthur was escorted out with his grandparents to say goodbye to Willow and her family as they left to go home to their country.

Arthur stood by his grandparents as he watched Willow walk away with her parents. He was overwhelming with everything that had just happened; he felt like he was losing another piece of his heart.

Kristen assembled with one of her guards. "I want three of your best guards to meet me in my personal throne room. Have one of your men to ask Amelia for an audience," she instructed one of them.

One of Kristen's Lady's brought Arthur to Kristen after she had requested to see him. "You look so tired. Why don't you rest for a bit in your father's old bedroom? I think it will do you some good," Kristen told Arthur.

Arthur hadn't slept for days and was really tired. He flopped on the bed and was sound asleep in a matter of minutes.

One of the Queens Lady's took Amelia to another bedroom in the castle. "You have had a long day. Get you some rest," she told Annabell. "But what about my family?" she asked. "Your brother and mother are in different rooms resting. This was also one of your father's rooms. He used to sleep in here sometimes. Please rest, princess," she requested for Annabell to do.

She did as she was told. She climbed up, and as soon as her head hit the pillow, she was out. She didn't realize how exhausted she was and how the approaching sun was.

Kristen then headed down to the throne room to meet up with the guards. "Did you tell her to meet me here?" she asked. "Yes,, your Majesty, she's on her way," he replied.

Amelia entered the throne room, her heart racing, and all alone like Kristen had asked her to do.

"Your highness," Amelia bowed before Kristen in a curtsy. Amelia could see that Kristen really despised her, and she feared that she was in deep trouble.

"Rise," Kristen ordered Amelia. When Amelia stood up, she was knocked backward with a hard smack to the face by Kristen.

Amelia grabbed her face as it began to sting.

"You don't have my son here to protect you anymore. Thanks to you, I no longer have a son. It's all your fault. You will suffer for the pain I feel," she screamed at Amelia.

"Please, your Majesty. Please spare my life and the life of your grandchildren. If something happens to me, The kids will suffer from the loss of both parents," she begged on her knees. "Do you think for one minute that I care about you and your cursed daughter? She was not a grandchild to me but an abomination. You and your daughter's fate will come soon enough, but for my grandson, Arthur, he will be raised by me. You will never see him again," she scolded Amelia.

"You can't! You wouldn't do that to your own family. No, Please! Don't take my kids away from me," Amelia begged as she struggled to get loose from one of Kristen's guards that were now taking her hostage.

"I can and will do what I want now, you pathetic girl. Take her to the dungeon," she ordered her guards. "No one can save you now," Kristen began to laugh as Amelia was dragged out screaming.

Dream Realm, Chapter Seven - Nicks Confession

Just as he promised, Nick came back the following night. He pondered the whole time what he was actually going to tell her, or wipe her memory of him clean and start over. But now that he had talked to her he really didn't want to do that.

Jessica let Nick in, to her surprise he smiled at her as he walked over to greet her.

"I'm actually surprised that you came back," Jessica told Nick. "I promised I would and I keep my word," he replied.

"So now are you going to tell me whats going on?" she asked without hesitation.

Nick hesitated and then started. "Our world like I told you was effected by something that we cannot explain. All of our females are no longer able to have babies, and that means if we can no longer produce children, our race will come to a end. We don't want that to happen so we were sent here to find certain females by genetics that we could be with, and produce a half breed child with. Then that child if a girl could breed with a male of our race, and could produce a child more to our genetics in result to hopefully save our kind," he explained.

"What! You can't be serious, you were trying to get me pregnant and breed with me. That explains it all. I can't believe you and your people could do this. You are talking madness!" Jessica shouted.

"I told you that I didn't want to tell you, I feared you would react in anger, but you were chosen, and because you are special in some way. I chose you," Nick told her. "Me special! What makes me special?" Jessica now curious after getting over the shocking news he had just told her, "I'm not sure, but you are. With in time we should find out. That is if you still want me to be here," he replied. "I think that I need to get to know you a little more before I decide," she replied.

The next night Nick brought a telescope with him. "I want to show you something, if you look right here you can see my planet, its tiny but its there," he explained to her as he adjusted the telescope.

"Here take a look." Jessica walked over to the telescope looking hard past all the bright stars trying to find the tiny planet he was talking about. "It looks like a star but do you see that blue one?" he asked. "Yes I do, its so tiny but I do see it," she squealed out with excitement.

As time went on Jessica started to get to know more and more about Nick and his people. "Its a nice world, and it kinda reminds me of here but with green people," he laughed."

Jessica leaned over without any hesitation placing her hand onto Nicks, causing his eyes to widen with shock. He never thought he was going to win her over after knowing the truth.

He looked over to see Jessica smiling at him. He was so overcome with emotions that he had never felt before.

Later they found themselves in Jessica's room. As Nick was just about ready to say goodnight, as he got close he meet Jessica staring into his eyes.

He pulled her into his arms embracing her in a kiss. His kiss was so gentle that it sent butterfly's into both their stomachs.

Nick slipped off his underwear revealing his sleek body to Jessica, but to her surprise he looked like any ordinary guy. He had a sleek shape with defined muscles. Jessica now a little nervous slipped her nightgown straps off her shoulders letting her nightgown fall the the floor revealing her pink body to him. "Are you sure you want to do this?" he asked. "I am," she replied nervously.

"He took her into his arms and brought her down to the floor. Caressing her soft skin, their body's became one.

Nick could no longer hold back, he picked her up off the floor and carried her to the counter top in the kitchen leaning her back and thrusting himself into her. To his surprise, Jessica moaned out in pleasure pulling him closer to her.

After a long time in the kitchen, Jessica lead Nick back to her bedroom where they finished in the bed. Jessica pulled Nick close to her while laying there staring into his eyes.

"Can I be yours now?" she asked with a big smile on her face. This made Nick blush a bit, he just shook his head in return.

After they got dressed he went to say goodbye to Jessica. "I have to go for a little while, we have to report back home to our homeworld to let them know of the progress we are making here. I'll be back as soon as possible," he told her. "Please hurry back, I feel like I already miss you," she replied with a smile.

Dream Realm, Chapter Six - Stranger In My House

Jessica was sound asleep when she herd a strange noise in her room. As her eyes shot open she saw that her bedroom light was on and someone was standing by her bed. She screamed out in shock while jumping to her feet.

Nick was in shock, he forgot to put her into a deep sleep. His cover was blown and now he was faced with not only her seeing him but what to do about the whole situation with her awake and screaming. "Who or what are you?" she screamed.

Nick didn't know what to do but to run. He would have to figure it out later. He ran out the door leaving Jessica standing there in shock.

She had to find out if what she had seen wasn't just in her mind. She herd the door open and knew that it wasn't a dream this time and that someone was in her house. She ran as fast as she could through her kitchen to get outside.

Jessica made it out onto the porch just in time to catch Nick before he disappeared. "Stop! Wait!" she shouted after him. Nick stopped right before he leaped off the porch. He couldn't resist but to stop. His curiosity was getting the best of him on why she would chase him down instead of running in fear.

Nick went down to his knees and hung his head down trying to shield his face. Jessica dropped to her knees and crawled over not to get to close to him but close enough to get a good look at him. She knew he had a greenish color to his skin, "Could this be a alien?" she kept asking herself.

"Its alright, I won't hurt you," Nick finally managed to get out. Jessica rose to her feet and backed up propping herself against the table on the porch. "Wait, I have seen you before, but in my dreams, how is this possible?" she asked. Nick sat up and decided he was going to try to fix the situation that he created. To his surprise she was intrigued by him, he noticed how pretty she was now that she was awake.

Nick rose to his feet and began to try to explain without scaring her. But to his surprise she didn't seem scared at all. "My name is Nick, I guess you already know that I'm not from here," he began to explain. "Are you a alien and why were you in my bedroom while I was sleeping? Jessica asked Nick. "Yes I am, but I can't tell you just yet why I'm here. I mean you no harm" he replied.

"My planet is dying, our race will end if we do not do something about it. There are a select few that were selected to come here in a attempt to try to find a solution." he explained. "So what do you have to do exactly and what dose that have to do with me?" she asked. "That's all I can tell you right now. You were never suppose to know I even existed." he replied.

That wasn't a good enough answer for Jessica as she followed him down the steps. He sat down and thought about how he could explain to her without seeming like a monster."Well that still doesn't explain why you were in my house in my bedroom." she now was a bit more frustrated standing there with her arms crossed waiting for a answer. "Lets go in and you can tell me all about it over something to eat," she demanded Nick. He knew she wasn't going to take no for a answer so he followed her into the house.

"Have a seat while I make us something to eat, I have been studying to be a chief," she told Nick. He sat down at the table and watched as she gathered things from the fridge and the cabinets. She was chopping away like nothing strange had even happened.

She brought over two plates of steaming food. "I think you will like this, at least I hope you will. I'm not quite sure what you eat on your planet," she told him. "I guess its about normal like here. I think we actually have something similar to this, but this, I got to admit is amazing. You can really cook," Nick told Jessica.

"I must go for now, can I come back tonight after you have had some sleep?" he asked Jessica. "Yes as long as you don't break in again, I would love to hear more about your planet and a explanation to why you are here," she said with a grin on her face. "I will explain it all to you when I come back," he replied.
