Kristens Wrath - Chapter Seventy Eight

Once down in the dungeon, the guard opened the dungeons heavy metal door, slinging Amelia into the cell, causing her to trip. Amelia fell face-first into the hay that was on the damp rock floor.

Amelia jumped to her feet, dusting off the hay on her dress. Amelia began to cry as fear washed over her.

"You are under arrest for the death of Prince James and will await sentence for your crimes that you are accused of," the guard told Amelia.

"What about my kids?" she asked, now in a panic fit. "The queen will decide what to do with them, not like you will ever see them again. I figure she will behead you like all the others. They did less to her majesty," he chuckled.

A few hours later, Amelia heard footsteps approaching down the hall from the steps. To her shock, she saw the guards escorting her daughter. "Join your mother," she told Annabell. "Why is she here?" she cried out. "The queen doesn't want anything to do with you or your daughter. The queen thinks that you both are cursed and wants nothing to do with either of you," he told her as he shut the metal door behind Annabell.

Annabell ran to Amelia, wrapping her arms around her mother's waist. Tears began to run down Annabell's face. She began to cry so hard that she could barely catch her breath.

When the guards left, Amelia bent down to comfort her daughter. "It's alright, you're here with me. I'm sure it's all a misunderstanding. I will talk to the queen as soon as she gives me an audience to straighten this out," she told Annabell. "She said she didn't want you or me because we are cursed," she told Amelia crying even harder. "I don't think she would say something that terrible about you, my love; you are the most special little girl there ever was. I think they were lying," she told Annabell, knowing that it was true what they said.

After a few hours, Annabell fell asleep on Amelia's lap. Amelia sat, wondering what Kristen was going to do with her and Annabell. "Could she be that cruel to her own grandchild?" she kept running through her mind. She now feared for the life of her daughter and the fate of her son.

William found Kristen in their bed-chamber. "I can no longer keep quiet. I can't stand by and watch what you're doing to Amelia and Annabell. For God's sake, shes my granddaughter, flesh and blood. She may not be in your eyes, but she is in mine. If you continue on this path, I will have to leave you. I can't watch this," he told her.

"You would really leave me? She killed our only son, and now you want me to have mercy on them? I can't believe what you are asking me," she turned her eyes away from his with tears streaming down her cheeks. "If you love me, you will just ban them and not kill them," he told her. "Fine, have your way, but I will never forgive her for her treason," she replied.

William wasted no time in getting down to the dungeon. He walked over to see that Amelia and Annabell were unharmed. He unlocked the big metal door releasing them. "Please go and don't look back; take Annabell and find a safe place. Kristen has decided to ban you and Annabell and spare your lives," he told her. "What about my son?" she asked. "I will look out for him. You know she will not let him go. This is the best I can do. I will ready the horses for you and Annabell," he told her.

"I can't thank you enough for all your kindness over the years to my family and me. I will never be able to repay you for your kindness," she told William. "You are my family. I will always love you and my granddaughter," he told Amelia right before she left.

William bent down and gave Annabell a hug before she left. "Remember that you are special in my heart, I will always love you, I hope to see you very soon," he told her with tears in his eyes, know that he may never see her again.

Dream Realm, Chapter Eight - The Pregnancy

She watched her favorite show on tv. Nick had been gone for what seemed like a eternity, even though it only had been a month.

Jessica started to be more tired than usual, soon after work she would take naps and still felt tired when she would get up. Feeling like she was coming down with the flu she just shrugged it off.

Then it happened. Running to the bathroom she barely made it before she threw up everything she had ate for breakfast.

Standing up from being sick she was just hit with a idea. "No is it, wait, can it be?" she kept running thoughts through her head.

Just to make sure that her suspicions were right she headed to the drug store for a pregnancy test.

She stood there watching the pregnancy stick for the results. Slowly the line appeared. "I'm pregnant! This is wonderful." she thought rubbing her belly. Nick is going to be so happy when he comes back.

Jessica was so excited that she went out and bought stuff for the nursery. She was so excited to be expecting a baby.

She spent the whole day in the nursery getting it set up. She put the cradle together and the toy box.

"I can't believe this, there is going to be a little baby sleeping in this cradle." she squealed with joy.

Christmas was soon approaching and it was time to get set for the holidays. She put up the tree and got some of her presents wrapped. She turned on the lights and stepped back to look at the view.

"It's just perfect. I wonder if Nick celebrates Christmas like we do." she thought, now missing him dearly.

The cravings were hitting her fast and she found herself downing a hot dog faster than she normally would. "Whats got into me, I better slow down before I choke." she giggled at herself.

It had only been a month and Jessica noticed that she was showing a lot earlier than she had expected.

Nick came back to find Jessica really excited to see him. She ran over to embrace him.

"I've missed you. Why have you been gone so long?" she said. "I had to do some business back home on my planet. I tried to get back as soon as possible," he replied.

"I got some good news, I'm Pregnant!" she told Nick. Nick was so excited he bent down to rub her belly. "I can't believe its happening, I'm going to be a daddy," he told Jessica as he continued to rub her belly in amazement. "Should I be this big already? I just found out that I was expecting last month, and now I'm showing a lot." she asked Nick. "Yes our pregnancy's are fast. The baby's grow fast and you will only be pregnant for a little longer," he explained to her.

Nick put his ear to her belly. "The baby is happy, shes doing good." he told Jessica. "What... you know its a girl, how?" she was now really amazed. "I can read thoughts and dreams, remember?" he snickered at her. "Oh yeah that's right." she replied now feeling a case of pregnancy brain.

"I'll have to make plans for the delivery. I will only be gone a few days, I promise." he told her.

Nick now back on his home planet found Lisa. "I need to talk to you. I have a mission for you," he told her.

"You and your missions, I have had enough of them, you have destroyed mine and Lars relationship and now your wanting me to help you?" she screamed at him. "No its not my mission, it your job, your specialty, you have to deliver these babies. And one is to be born soon." he explained. "I guess I have no choice do I?" she huffed back at Nick.

The Funeral - Chapter Seventy Seven

The following night everyone gathered out in the royal graveyard to pay their last respects to James before they buried him. His mother placed several red roses on her son's coffin as she sobbed in William's arms. Everyone was quiet except for the sobs and cries that could be heard from everyone.

William held himself together while Kristen was falling apart. She was so grief-stricken that he feared that she would not recover from her only 's son's death.

It was a really sad sight for all that came. Even the guards were there to pay their respects to him. The beloved prince was gone, and the 's fate of the kingdom fell to Arthur if anything should happen to Kristen.

Amelia sobbed in her Lady, and best friends arms, Molly. She wept silently so her kids wouldn't see or hear her cry. She knew she had to be strong for them.

Arthur cried silent, but Annabell was a mess. She screamed and sobbed so loud it was so pitiful to hear. Everyone knew that Annabell was a daddy's girl, and now she would not only feel like a part of her was gone. She would have to also face the world without him.

Willow looked up to her mom, "This is so sad. I feel terrible for Arthur and Annabell," she whispered to her mom. "I know, it's a tragedy, and he will be missed by everyone," she replied to Willow.

Before the priest could finish his words, Kristen was collapsing to her knees. William helped her into the castle to lay down for a bit to try to recover her strength.

After the service was done, everyone meets in the castle. "I know this is a difficult time for you, your family, and staff. I will take Willow with me for now until this blows over. I'll keep in touch with you to discuss Willow at a later date," she told Amelia. "I think that would be best right now. I have to get all of James's affairs out of the way and find out what is to become of mine and the kid's future," she replied.

Arthur hugged Willow tight, "I don't want you to go. You're my best friend," he sobbed. "I think my mom will bring me to see you, and you know you will always be my best friend," she replied.

Arthur was escorted out with his grandparents to say goodbye to Willow and her family as they left to go home to their country.

Arthur stood by his grandparents as he watched Willow walk away with her parents. He was overwhelming with everything that had just happened; he felt like he was losing another piece of his heart.

Kristen assembled with one of her guards. "I want three of your best guards to meet me in my personal throne room. Have one of your men to ask Amelia for an audience," she instructed one of them.

One of Kristen's Lady's brought Arthur to Kristen after she had requested to see him. "You look so tired. Why don't you rest for a bit in your father's old bedroom? I think it will do you some good," Kristen told Arthur.

Arthur hadn't slept for days and was really tired. He flopped on the bed and was sound asleep in a matter of minutes.

One of the Queens Lady's took Amelia to another bedroom in the castle. "You have had a long day. Get you some rest," she told Annabell. "But what about my family?" she asked. "Your brother and mother are in different rooms resting. This was also one of your father's rooms. He used to sleep in here sometimes. Please rest, princess," she requested for Annabell to do.

She did as she was told. She climbed up, and as soon as her head hit the pillow, she was out. She didn't realize how exhausted she was and how the approaching sun was.

Kristen then headed down to the throne room to meet up with the guards. "Did you tell her to meet me here?" she asked. "Yes,, your Majesty, she's on her way," he replied.

Amelia entered the throne room, her heart racing, and all alone like Kristen had asked her to do.

"Your highness," Amelia bowed before Kristen in a curtsy. Amelia could see that Kristen really despised her, and she feared that she was in deep trouble.

"Rise," Kristen ordered Amelia. When Amelia stood up, she was knocked backward with a hard smack to the face by Kristen.

Amelia grabbed her face as it began to sting.

"You don't have my son here to protect you anymore. Thanks to you, I no longer have a son. It's all your fault. You will suffer for the pain I feel," she screamed at Amelia.

"Please, your Majesty. Please spare my life and the life of your grandchildren. If something happens to me, The kids will suffer from the loss of both parents," she begged on her knees. "Do you think for one minute that I care about you and your cursed daughter? She was not a grandchild to me but an abomination. You and your daughter's fate will come soon enough, but for my grandson, Arthur, he will be raised by me. You will never see him again," she scolded Amelia.

"You can't! You wouldn't do that to your own family. No, Please! Don't take my kids away from me," Amelia begged as she struggled to get loose from one of Kristen's guards that were now taking her hostage.

"I can and will do what I want now, you pathetic girl. Take her to the dungeon," she ordered her guards. "No one can save you now," Kristen began to laugh as Amelia was dragged out screaming.
